Thank you also for the insights about C.S. Lewis. I love most of his writing a lot, but you are so right that he says occasional unnecessary and deeply hurtful things about a women (and then it's hard when everyone around me says that I either need to write Lewis off completely for his errors or I need to accept and agree with everything he says, and no one advocates a middle ground of discernment and respectful disagreement or constructive criticism when necessary).
I loved this episode so much! You talked about all my favorite things! And I wrote my thesis on Catherine of Siena, too! 🤓 Thank you for hosting and producing this conversation. What a cozy, Christmas blessing!
This makes me want to listen to the entire archive of Fountain of Carrots all over again. 🥰
a GREAT idea! :)
Thank you and Haley for the great conversation!

Thanks so much for listening, Penelope! I'll never forgive CS Lewis for what he did to Susan, but I love him anyway :)
Thank you both. What a enjoyable conversation. I love Donna Tartt too.... perfect long winter read.
Thanks Chris! I went ahead and ordered The Secret History as soon as I got off the call with Haley. Can’t wait to read it!

Thank you so much for tuning in Catherine! Three cheers for St. Catherine of Siena :)
Kristin Lavransdatter would make a great miniseries, that saga would also make a great musical.
